HOUSTON, TX – Houston Police have arrested two additional suspects connected to a robbery that occurred just prior to the fatal shooting of 25-year-old Felix Caxaj Tax in southwest Houston. The incident happened around 11:05 p.m. on September 21 in the 3400 block of Unity Drive. Officers were first called to a robbery and carjacking in the 6300 block of Skyline Drive, where a man reported that three Hispanic male suspects, one armed with a rifle, had taken his vehicle by force. While officers were on scene, a citizen alerted them to a male lying on a nearby sidewalk. Police then located the victim, Caxaj Tax, with multiple gunshot wounds. SPRING, TX – Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office discovered two women deceased inside an apartment at the Wind Song Village Apartment Complex in the 2900 block of Hirschfield Road. Photo Courtesy of Pct. 4 Deputies responded on September 23, 2025, after a neighbor reported a large number of flies around one of the units. Upon entry, deputies and EMS confirmed both women were deceased. The investigation remains ongoing.
