Male Victim Sustained Gunshot Wound in Disturbance, Suspect Fled Scene

HOUSTON, TX, AUGUST 12, 2023 – At approximately 2:20 a.m., Houston Police officers responded to a shooting incident at 3800 Tidwell at a Mustang Inn. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the calf.

The initial investigation reveals that the man was shot during a disturbance with a female. The suspect subsequently fled the scene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. He is expected to survive. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
