HOUSTON, TX (June 6, 2024) – A 5-year-old girl died after drowning at an apartment complex in southwest Houston Saturday evening.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to the drowning call at the Walden of Westchase Apartments and found her unresponsive in the pool. This happened around 8:10 p.m. Paramedics with the Houston Fire Department then transported her to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
Her identity has not been released.
