Firefighter transported to hospital for heat exhaustion during auto shop fire

HOUSTON, TX – A firefighter was transported to the hospital after suffering heat exhaustion during an auto shop fire Friday night.

The fire started around 3 a.m. in the 9200 block of Clarkcrest.

According to the Houston Fire Department, a car inside the shop caught fire but it was extinguished fairly quickly. There were no other injuries.
