HAMMOND, La. (Sept. 11, 2024) — In anticipation of Tropical Storm Francine’s arrival, North Oaks Health System has announced the temporary closure of several outpatient services to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
North Oaks Urgent Cares in Hammond, Ponchatoula, and Walker closed yesterday, Sept. 10, at 5 p.m. and will reopen on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 12 p.m. All other North Oaks outpatient locations will close on Wednesday, Sept. 11, and are scheduled to resume normal operations at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 12.
The affected locations include:
- All North Oaks Clinics in Tangipahoa and Livingston parishes
- North Oaks Diagnostic Center
- North Oaks Infusion Therapy
- North Oaks-Livingston Parish Medical Complex
- North Oaks Outpatient Rehabilitation Services in Tangipahoa and Livingston parishes
- North Oaks Prescription Centers
- North Oaks Same Day Surgery
- North Oaks Surgery Center
