Principal Addresses Rumor of Threat at Autumn Ridge Middle School

(HUMBLE, TX) – Today, Autumn Ridge Middle School Principal Rosalyn Sweat addressed concerns regarding a rumor about a potential threat of violence at the school. According to Principal Sweat, the rumor began when a student shared a photo of a social media post via text message.

Humble ISD Police, alongside campus administrators, promptly launched an investigation. The student involved was identified, and appropriate actions were taken. Officials confirmed there was no evidence of a credible threat.

Despite the lack of credible evidence, Autumn Ridge Middle School and Humble ISD Police remain vigilant, continuing to enforce safety and security procedures to ensure the safety of all students.

Principal Sweat also reminded parents and students to report any safety concerns to school staff, Humble ISD Police at 281-641-7900, or through the Humble ISD iHelp app. “By working in partnership, we keep our school safe and students focused on learning,” she emphasized.
