HOUSTON, TX – A bus associated with Senator Ted Cruz avoided a recently disabled vehicle on the Eastex Freeway in northbound lanes near the Rankin Road exit on Friday morning.
The incident occurred after the vehicle suffered a blowout, leaving it immobilized in a lane on the freeway. The bus, traveling northbound, was able to avoid a collision with the disabled vehicle. It is unknown if Senator Cruz was on board at the time.
