HOUSTON, TX – A man was struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in northeast Houston.

The incident occurred just after 11 p.m. on Tidwell near Allwood. The man was transported to a local hospital and is expected to be okay.

The driver remained on scene and briefly spoke with police before being released.
