HOUSTON, TX – A 36-year-old DJ was killed early Sunday in a single-vehicle crash in the 9000 block of Humble Westfield Road near McKnight Lane.

Officers were dispatched around 2:39 a.m. Evidence indicated the vehicle left the roadway, rolled over multiple times into a ditch and came to rest on a pole, according to police.

The driver was ejected. Houston Fire Department personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Police said the man was leaving a party when the crash occurred and that it appeared he had not been wearing a seat belt.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
