HOUSTON, Texas — Dr. Candice Matthews has issued a public statement denying allegations circulated by Aubrey Taylor, calling the claims false and pointing to the outcome of court proceedings as evidence supporting her position.

In the statement, Dr. Matthews said allegations that she went to a school creating disturbances, made bomb threats, or engaged in criminal conduct are “simply not true.”
Dr. Matthews also questioned the timeline of the allegations, stating she had recently undergone a C-section following the birth of her son when the alleged events were said to have occurred.

She further noted that the protective order case referenced in the allegations was ultimately dismissed. According to Dr. Matthews, no criminal charges were filed against her, and she was never arrested or prosecuted in connection with the claims.
“The public deserves facts – not sensationalized stories,” Dr. Matthews said in the statement, arguing that repeating allegations unsupported by the outcome of the legal process raises questions about the credibility of those continuing to promote them.
Dr. Matthews said her focus remains on “accountability, evidence, and the truth” and that she will continue relying on documented facts and the legal record.
Addressing Taylor directly, Dr. Matthews said that repeating claims she believes are inconsistent with the documented outcome of the proceedings damages his credibility rather than hers, adding that the public is capable of reviewing the facts and reaching its own conclusions.
