HARRIS COUNTY, TX (June 1, 2024) – A woman is in custody after she pointed a handgun at Deputies in northwest Harris County.
The deputies were originally called out to the 27700 block of Dana Lane around 8:30 p.m. after she was the woman was reportedly brandishing her weapon at her mother and stepfather.
When deputies arrived, they tried to de-escalate the situation but the pointed the weapon at one of the deputies who then discharged their weapon several times.
The woman was not injured in the shooting and a Harris County S.W.A.T. team was called out after she barricaded herself.
She ended up surrendering after negotiations with S.W.A.T
