HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man is dead after a head-on crash on Atascocita Road early Sunday morning.
The accident occurred around 1:30 a.m.
According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Donald Price was driving a red 2008 Ford F150 eastbound on Atascocita Road, between Wilson and Will Clayton.
Price failed to maintain a single lane and crossed into westbound lanes of traffic where he struck a Toyota Sequoia head-on.
Both drivers were transported to a local hospital but the driver of the Sequoia was pronounced deceased at 2:52 a.m.
The Sheriff’s Office says they found illegal narcotics in Price’s possession and he tested for narcotics in his system and contacted the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.
