Fire Destroys Old Home in South Houston

A home built in 1947 in the “Old Braeswood” in the 2300 block of Gramercy @ Morningside (2345 Gramercy) area of Houston was destroyed after a a fire ripped through the house. The call was dispatched at about 1:45 a.m. on March 4, 2022.

Vehicle Struck by Gunfire Outside Texas Children’s Pavilion for Women in Houston #hounews

A vehicle was traveling northbound on Main St. and was struck by multiple bullets in the 6600 block of Main @ Southgate at about 3 a.m on March 4, 2022 right outside Texas Childrens Hospital - Pavilion for Women. The driver was checked out by EMS with the Houston Fire Department, for what appeared to be minor injuries. Houston Police are investigating.

#reckless driver on I-10 causes accident, arrested by #Houston police

Houston Police spotted a reckless driver on I-10, headed eastbound into downtown on February 28, 2022 shortly before 8 p.m. The suspect, (driving a maroon truck) crashed into another driver and was arrested, causing traffic to come to a standstill while police officers worked diligently to move the accident off the freeway. No injuries were reported.

Firefighters responded to a report of a car on fire in West Houston in Bear Creek (4400 North Eldridge Parkway) on Sunday February 27, 2022 at about 1 a.m. Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) said the investigation is pending and can not confirm if there are any victims at this time.
