On Feb 20, 2022 at about 12:52 a.m. Texas City police received a call about a suspicious vehicle and catalytic converter thefts which led to a lengthy pursuit north on highway I-45 into the city of Houston and ended on Garden City drive and W Gulf Bank. 2 suspects fled, both were captured with the help of a Texas DPS helicopter and transferred to Texas City. One accident occurred during the pursuit, no injuries reported. Catalytic converters were found in the trunk.
