Motorcyclist shoots man in neck who was walking down the street

HOUSTON, TX – A man is recovering after he was shot in the neck by a motorcyclist in west Houston.

According to the Houston Police Department, the man was walking in the 1300 block of Witte Rd. when a motorcyclist approached him and opened fire.

The man was transported to the hospital and was able to provide a detailed description of the suspect. The suspect was then located by HPD and taken into custody via traffic stop.

The man is expected to survive.
