HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A woman was arrested after displaying a badge and impersonating a police officer during a traffic dispute in northwest Harris County.

The incident occurred on August 23, 2025, around 8:50 a.m. in the 10300 block of Louetta Road. According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, 30-year-old Joycelyn Jackson became upset with another driver’s erratic behavior and showed her Private Investigator badge in an attempt to pull the driver over. Believing she was law enforcement, the driver complied.
Deputies determined Jackson was not a police officer. It was also discovered that she was out on a $35,000 bond for Aggravated Assault at the time of the incident. She was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Impersonating a Public Servant. Her bond was set at $25,000 out of the 180th District Court.
