Selbyville man arrested for reckless endangering and gun offenses

SELBYVILLE, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested 44-year-old Justin Glowacki of Selbyville for reckless endangering and gun offenses after an incident Saturday night.

On August 30, 2025, around 9 p.m., troopers responded to a residence on the 12000 block of Knolls Lane in Selbyville for reports of a man shooting a firearm. Investigators determined that Glowacki was outside his residence screaming and cursing while firing a rimfire rifle at his feet and in the direction of a nearby home occupied by two adults.

Troopers located Glowacki, who was highly intoxicated, at his residence on the 34000 block of Brinker Mansion Road. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop 4, where he was charged.

Charges:

  • Reckless Endangering First Degree (Felony) – 2 counts
  • Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
  • Possession of a Firearm While Under the Influence
  • Failure to Comply with Taking of Photos and Fingerprints

Glowacki was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $24,000 cash bond.
