Two injured after shooting in Frankford, Delaware State Police investigating

FRANKFORD, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured early Thursday morning in Frankford.

On Sept. 4, 2025, at about 2:41 a.m., troopers responded to the area of Honolulu Road and Reed Street after reports of gunfire. They found a 27-year-old man from Frankford and a 38-year-old woman from Selbyville with injuries.

According to investigators, the victims were traveling in the area when unknown suspects fired multiple rounds at their vehicle. The woman was injured by glass debris, while the man sustained both debris-related injuries and a gunshot wound to his hand. Both were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
