NEW ORLEANS, LA – New Orleans Police are investigating a homicide after a teenage male was found shot to death in Algiers on October 6, 2025.
According to investigators, officers responded to the 3700 block of Texas Drive shortly after 8 p.m. following reports of a shooting. Fourth District officers found the victim on the ground suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
New Orleans EMS pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will release the victim’s name and official cause of death after notifying next of kin and conducting an autopsy.
