NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – The North Charleston Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred on the evening of Monday, October 13, 2025.
Just before 9:00 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1900 block of Alton Street. Upon arrival, they located a male victim outside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.
No arrests have been made at this time. Detectives are pursuing all leads, and the investigation remains ongoing.
