OMAHA, NE – An officer-involved shooting occurred in the 15200 block of Spencer Street after police responded to a reported burglary in progress at a residence in northwest Omaha.
Omaha Police confirmed that no officers were injured. One individual was transported to a local hospital, and there is no danger to the public.
According to initial scanner traffic, a caller reported hearing whispering in the basement. Officers arrived on scene and shots were fired during the encounter.
