HARRINGTON, DE – Delaware State Police have identified 64-year-old Lorenza Bailey Jr. of Milford as the man killed in a two-vehicle crash in Harrington.

The crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. on October 31 on South Dupont Highway near Tower Hill Road. According to Delaware State Police, a Ford Fusion was traveling northbound and entered a center crossover to turn left onto Tower Hill Road. At the same time, an Infiniti G37 was traveling southbound in the right lane when the Ford crossed in front of it. The Infiniti struck the right side of the Ford, forcing it off the roadway, where it hit a utility pole.
Bailey, the driver of the Ford, was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. The driver of the Infiniti, a 19-year-old man from Milford, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was also taken to a hospital.
The roadway remained closed for approximately 4.5 hours as the Delaware State Police Troop 3 Collision Reconstruction Unit investigated and cleared the scene.
