HOUSTON, TX – A minor crash occurred Tuesday night after a vehicle struck a Houston Fire Department truck on the Southwest Freeway.

The incident happened around 10:17 p.m. at 8089 S. U.S. 59 near Bissonnet.

According to the Houston Police Department, a female driver in a white Hyundai attempted to drive around an HFD truck that was blocking traffic for an earlier accident involving a maroon Honda Civic. The Hyundai struck the rear of the fire truck.

No injuries were reported in either crash.
