K9 called after short pursuit ends when car crashes through guardrail

HOUSTON, TX – A brief pursuit ended in a crash after a vehicle went through a guardrail in the 1400 block of White Oak Drive near the North Freeway.

The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. Sunday. After the crash, at least one suspect fled the scene on foot, prompting officers to set up a perimeter.

A K9 unit was called to assist in the search. However, no suspects were detained, and the perimeter was eventually collapsed.

It is unknown if additional suspects were involved.
