HOUSTON, TX – An adult male and an adult female were injured in a shooting during a domestic disturbance at a residence in Houston.

Officers responded to the shooting around 11:25 p.m. in the 5100 block of Danfield Drive.

Police said the two individuals, identified as a husband and wife, were engaged in a physical altercation inside the residence when a firearm was used. Both individuals shot each other with the same firearm.

Officers rendered aid at the scene. Houston Fire Department crews arrived shortly after and transported both victims to a local hospital, where they were reported to be in stable condition.

The shooting occurred inside the residence.
