HOUSTON, TX – Dozens of people showed up for the Activism 101 book signing by Dr. Matthews, hosted by Quotes at Willowbrook Mall, including one woman who was emotional upon meeting Dr. Matthews because she was so excited.

Attendees were able to purchase a copy of Activism 101 or bring their own to be signed by Dr. Matthews. They were also able to interact with Dr. Matthews and take photos during the event.

Guests also enjoyed food courtesy of Quotes Restaurant. Dr. Matthews also announced she will be visiting more cities in the future for additional appearances. Attendees were encouraged to check her posts on social media where she will provide updates.
