HOUSTON, TX – A barricaded suspect was taken into custody following a weapons disturbance in southeast Houston.

HPD responded to a call involving a male with a shotgun on Skyview Park Drive. The male dropped the weapon and fled into a house, leading to a barricaded situation.

The Houston Police Department’s Patrol Support Team set up containment while a warrant was being issued.

The suspect was ultimately taken into custody.
