Small fire damages unit at Greenridge apartment complex

HOUSTON, TX – A small fire damaged one unit at an apartment complex in Houston earlier this morning.

The fire was reported around 3:44 a.m. at the Tiffany II apartment complex located in the 3000 block of Greenridge.

According to the Houston Fire Department, only one unit or room sustained minor smoke and water damage. When crews arrived, someone was already using a water hose, limiting the need for firefighters to use additional water.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
