HOUSTON, TX – The eastbound lanes of IH-610 South Loop at South Wayside Drive were closed overnight following a major crash involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
It is unknown why the pedestrian was on the freeway, but the vehicle involved remained at the scene.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital by the Houston Fire Department, and their condition is currently unknown.
