HOUSTON, TX – A man in his mid-20s was shot while driving on the 610 Loop near Westheimer around 2:13 a.m.
According to police, the man and a woman, both in their mid-20s, said they were driving northbound in the main lanes of 610 when they heard two gunshots. They ducked and pulled off the road. The male driver was struck in the abdomen and leg. He is expected to survive.
The male and the female told police they did not know why they were shot at.
