HOUSTON, TX — Dr. Candice Matthews stated that a second complaint alleges that a complainant sustained injuries during an alleged encounter involving law enforcement. The second complaint comes after a previous complaint was filed against Deputy Kevin Thompson.
According to Dr. Matthews, the complainant provided photographic evidence that allegedly documents visible injuries, including alleged abrasions and alleged bleeding to the knees, legs and wrist. The complainant alleges the injuries occurred during an alleged encounter involving Deputy Thompson.
Dr. Matthews stated the photographs are alleged evidence and are being preserved and reviewed as part of the alleged intake process. She emphasized that the injuries, the photographs and the alleged encounter are allegations and not findings of fact.
Dr. Matthews stated that no conclusions have been reached and that the matter remains under alleged preliminary review. She stated that the Harris County Sheriff’s Office has been notified of the allegations.
Dr. Matthews emphasized that the matter remains under review and that all referenced claims remain allegations.
