HOUSTON, TX – A parking attendant was shot in the leg during an argument at an apartment complex parking lot near the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
The shooting occurred around 9 p.m. in the 8400 block of Hearth.
According to information provided, the victim, a male in his mid-40s, was working as a parking attendant and collecting money from individuals to allow parking in the lot. A black male driving a black Cadillac Escalade, accompanied by two female passengers, arrived at the location.
An argument reportedly occurred over whether they could park in the lot. During the dispute, the driver shot the victim one time in the leg before fleeing the scene in the Cadillac Escalade.
The victim was transported to a hospital and is expected to be okay.
Investigators are working to identify the individuals involved.
