HOUSTON, TX – An elderly mother allegedly shot her son in the chest during an argument at a home in northeast Houston.
According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to the 10100 block of Valencia around 3:30 a.m.
Officers found the man suffering from significant blood loss. He was transported to a nearby hospital and is in critical condition.
A firearm was recovered at the scene, and the suspect has been detained.
