Shooting leaves man dead in southeast Houston after interaction at apartment complex

HOUSTON, TX – A man in his 20s was pronounced deceased after a shooting at a nearby apartment complex in southeast Houston Thursday evening.

The shooting occurred around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Van Fleet, where the man was found deceased.

According to the Houston Police Department, the man had some kind of interaction at the apartment complex near MLK and Van Fleet with two other men, during which shots were fired, before driving to the intersection where he was pronounced deceased.
