SUGAR LAND, TX – According to the Sugar Land Police Department, officers shot a man who was reportedly firing gunshots into the ground in a neighborhood near Greatwood Lake and Forestlake Drive. The photo above was sent in by one of our viewers via tips@houstonstringer.com The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m., when police responded to calls about gunfire in the area. Three officers arrived and encountered the man, described as being in his late twenties or early thirties. According to Sugar Land Police Chief Pete Lara, a confrontation took place between the man and officers, leading to the shooting. The man was transported to a hospital. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A suspect was shot and killed in an officer-involved shooting in the parking lot of the Kelsey-Seybold North Houston Campus at 15655 Cypresswood Medical Drive, near FM 1960.
