Fire destroys building at Rock Creek at Hollow Tree Apartment Homes in north Houston
November 18, 2022 - A fire destroyed a building at the Rock Creek at Hollow Tree Apartment Homes located in the 200 Block of Hollow Tree Lane in north Houston.
One resident living inside the building which was destroyed (Building 18) stated that the fire broke out around midnight and started in the middle of Building 18.
Officials have not released an official cause of the fire at this time but said the firefighters arrived around 11:45 p.m., 16 units were damaged and a firefighter was transported to a local hospital for treatment after suffering smoke inhalation.

Video: House Fire on Enchanted Rock Trail in Atascocita, Texas
November 19, 2022 - The Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in the 18200 block of Enchanted Rock Trail in Atascocita, TX around 5:30 p.m.

Firefighters were able to quickly put out the flames. There is no word on what caused the fire or the amount of damages sustained. There have been no reports of injuries.

Man rescued after climbing power transmission tower in north Houston
November 17, 2022 - A 30-year-old man was rescued after on a power transmission tower near E. Hardy Rd and Parker Road.
The Houston Police Department's Mental Health Unit and the Houston Fire Department were able to talk the man down and were able to take him to a mental health evaluation.
CenterPoint and Toll Road Constables were also credited for the rescue.

Two men are dead after a double shooting occurred outside of a Fuel Depot gas station located at 11575 Bissonnet Street in Houston, TX just after 11 p.m. on November 17, 2022.

Two people are in jail, including a teenager, after a brazen smash and grab in front of a major Houston area freeway early Monday morning.

LaQuinta Powell (19) and Curtis Washington (17), were arrested after breaking into K's Motorsports located at 17802 US-59, in Humble, TX. Officers with the Humble Police Department pulled them over in the 13900 block of Eastex Freeway, about 5 miles away around 12:50 a.m. on November 14, 2022, along with a Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy.
According to court documents, Powell’s bond was set at $10,000, while Washington’s bail was set at $3,000. Both have not posted bail and remain in custody in Harris County Jail as of November 15, 2022.

Smash and grab at K’s Motorsports; recovery of dirtbikes in Humble, Texas
Police caught up to the suspects and pulled them over around 12:50 a.m. in the 13900 block of the Eastex Freeway, on the southbound lanes. According to court documents, two suspects were taken into custody and charged with burglary of a building.
It is currently unknown if other suspects were in the vehicle, or if any other suspects took part in the smash-and-grab at K's Motorsports in the 17800 block of the Eastex Freeway (about 5 miles north of the location where the chase ended)
