The driver of a black Chevrolet Silverado was reportedly speeding southbound when he approached a red light and attempted to swerve to avoid a gray Chevrolet Suburban stopped at the intersection. The Silverado clipped the Suburban’s side mirror, ran the red light, struck a culvert in front of the Dorchester Apartments, and overturned. The driver of the Suburban was not injured. Preliminary findings from the Houston Police Department indicate that a man opened fire after encountering his ex-girlfriend with another man. It is unknown if he was driving the vehicle. He was transported by paramedics to a local hospital, and his condition is currently unknown. HOUSTON, TX – April 7, 2025 – Houston Police Department Homicide Division detectives responded Monday morning to a fatal stabbing at the Heatherwood Apartments, located at 9001 South Braeswood Boulevard. https://youtu.be/Id9rPd3KfrE At approximately 8:05 a.m., officers discovered a deceased male on one of the stairs of the apartments. A female suspect, believed to be the victim's girlfriend, was with him and was detained at the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest the incident occurred during a domestic altercation.
