GRASONVILLE, MD – A Grasonville woman has been sentenced to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of reckless endangerment and criminal neglect of a minor in connection with the 2024 drowning death of a toddler left outside unattended. On October 1, 2025, Marina Castanon Tomas was sentenced to two five-year sentences, to be served consecutively, following a jury trial in Queen Anne’s County. QUEEN ANNE’S COUNTY, MD – The Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff has arrested Kamryn Andrews, 19, James Lawson, 20, and Travis Lissau, 27, in connection with the shooting death of 19-year-old Christopher Parsley. On June 1, deputies responded to the 1500 block of Centreville Road in Queenstown for reports of multiple gunshots and victims. Upon arrival, deputies located Parsley with an apparent gunshot wound. According to the Sheriff’s Office, the post included a general threat but was not directed toward the school, students, or staff. Delaware State Police investigating fatal head-on crash in Dover

DOVER, DE – Delaware State Police are investigating a fatal two-car crash that occurred on Dyke Branch Road Saturday afternoon. The crash happened September 20, 2025, around 3:30 p.m. when a Honda Accord traveling eastbound failed to remain in its lane while approaching a curve west of Wheel of Fortune Road. The Honda crossed into the westbound lane, where a Volvo S40 was approaching. The Volvo’s driver swerved left into the eastbound lane to avoid a collision, but the Honda re-entered the lane, resulting in a head-on crash.
