Three men arrested in June shooting death of Christopher Parsley

QUEEN ANNE’S COUNTY, MD – The Queen Anne’s County Office of the Sheriff has arrested Kamryn Andrews, 19, James Lawson, 20, and Travis Lissau, 27, in connection with the shooting death of 19-year-old Christopher Parsley.

On June 1, deputies responded to the 1500 block of Centreville Road in Queenstown for reports of multiple gunshots and victims. Upon arrival, deputies located Parsley with an apparent gunshot wound. Despite life-saving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Unit launched an investigation with assistance from federal, state, and local partners, including the FBI, Homeland Security Investigations, the Chesapeake Bay Safe Streets Task Force, and multiple law enforcement agencies in Maryland and Delaware.

Following an extensive investigation, the case was presented to a Queen Anne’s County Grand Jury, which returned indictments. Arrest warrants were issued on October 6, and all three suspects were taken into custody without bond on October 8.

Kamryn Andrews, of Seaford, DE, faces charges including attempted second-degree murder (2 counts), manslaughter, first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, and multiple firearm-related offenses.

James Lawson, of Queenstown, MD, is charged with attempted second-degree murder (4 counts), manslaughter, multiple assault and firearm counts, conspiracy to alter physical evidence, and firearm possession violations.

Travis Lissau, of Centreville, MD, faces similar charges, including attempted second-degree murder (4 counts), manslaughter, multiple counts of assault, reckless endangerment, and weapons offenses.
