HOUSTON, TX – April 29, 2025 – A man was found shot to death inside a home on Ludington Drive near Fondren Road and West Bellfort Avenue in southwest Houston late Monday night. Preliminary reports indicate that two of the motorcycles lost control, causing one of the drivers to fall into the general-purpose lanes of the freeway. The rider was then struck by another vehicle. One motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene. Another rider was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, homicide detectives with the Harris County Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting scene early Monday morning at a residence in the 16000 block of Dehay Lane. Around 4 a.m., deputies found 21-year-old Elijah Edwards deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Investigators determined that prior to the shooting, Edwards and several known males were at the residence when an argument broke out. The dispute escalated into a physical fight, during which Edwards was shot. Detectives have charged Xavier Garcia, born March 3, 2005, with murder in connection to Edwards' death. CYPRESS, TX – A heavy police presence was reported Monday in the 16000 block of Dehay Lane in the Stablewood Farms subdivision following a deadly shooting. HOUSTON, TX – Three teenagers were hospitalized after a drive-by shooting early Monday morning in northeast Houston, according to the Houston Police Department. According to the Houston Police Department, the three victims, including a 14-year-old, were transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds and are in stable condition. Investigators believe the shooting was a drive-by but have not yet determined a motive.

HOUSTON, TX – Two people were shot while sitting in a vehicle early Monday morning on Gillette Street in the Montrose area. Two occupants inside the vehicle were struck by gunfire. Two other individuals inside the car were not injured and are speaking with investigators.
