HOUSTON, TX (May 4, 2024) - One person is dead after a family disturbance led to a shooting. https://youtu.be/vdsElqrYfSw The shooting occurred in the 800 block of Ringold around just after 10 p.m. According to police, one suspect is in custody. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The case remains under investigation.

HOUSTON, TX (May 4, 2024) - A McDonald's customer was shot and killed after an altercation broke out around 6 p.m. Saturday night in the 8100 block of the Katy Freeway. https://youtu.be/wbYz6UtBfCw According to police, officers responded to a shooting call for service and found a male with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on scene. What led up to the altercation is still under investigation.

Update 5/6/2024 - Accoding to a new press release, the white jeep was rear ended while changing lanes. HOUSTON, TX (May 4, 2024) - A white jeep was rear-ended by a motorcycle while changing lanes in the 11700 block of the Gulf Freeway around 10 p.m. This happened in the northbound lanes near the Edgbrook exit . https://youtu.be/wXa8uDJLN58 According to police, the driver of the white jeep was transported to the hospital with minor injuries but the motorcyclist did not make it and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HOUSTON – An accident occurred late Friday night around 11:30 p.m. on  I-45 & Scarsdale where a driver, believed to be in his late 30s or early 40s, lost control of his vehicle while exiting the freeway at a high rate of speed.  https://youtu.be/mT-4QJr11Xg The male driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. A female passenger sustained severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

HOUSTON – An incident occurred shortly after midnight this morning in the 1500 block of Furman where an elderly female driver drove off the road into a ditch.  https://youtu.be/xw2eEOHWKE8 Two juveniles, believed to be her grandchildren, were in the vehicle at the time of the accident and were transported to the hospital and they are expected to recover.  The grandmother was also transported to the hospital where she was later pronounced deceased.  The Houston Police Department is investigating whether a medical issue, such as a possible cardiac arrest, may have caused the crash.

HOUSTON – A woman is dead after she lost control of her vehicle on I-10.  The accident occurred around 9 p.m. in the 4800 block of I-10 in the westbound lanes. A female driver in her early 30s was pronounced deceased at the scene after losing control of her vehicle and colliding with a wall. Family members stated that she may have had low blood pressure, which could have contributed to the accident. A juvenile was also in the vehicle at the time of the crash but is expected to recover. The Houston Police Department’s Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the accident. 

HOUSTON – A man is dead after being stabbed multiple times after the suspect crashed into an apartment gate.  https://youtu.be/U9FOpp_4U6Y The accident occurred at the apartment complex located at 7023 Woodridge Square.  The victim, described as a male approximately 60 years old, was pronounced deceased. The relationship between the suspect and the victim has not yet been determined.

HOUSTON – A shooting occurred in the 7100 block of Cullen, resulting in four people being injured. According to police, a maroon Chrysler, a white Altima, and a black Charger drove by at a slow rate of speed and passengers inside each vehicle fired shots at a crowd outside a convenience store. https://youtu.be/neHtQVgVdls Three males in their 20s were struck and sought help at a nearby fire station. A female in her 20s also struck, and managed to drive to a nearby gas station where she received assistance from the Houston Fire Department.  All injuries are reported as non-life threatening. HOUSTON – An officer on routine patrol discovered a woman lying in the middle of a secluded street at approximately 10 p.m. in the 13400 block of Anagnost. The woman believed to be in her mid-20s, was found under unclear circumstances. Shell casings were located on the street, but it remains unclear whether she was shot or struck by a vehicle. The HPD’s Homicide Division will be investigating to determine what happened.

HOUSTON, TX (May 3, 2024) - A JSX plane experienced a landing gear collapse after touching down at Hobby Airport around 6 p.m. 

All 31 passengers on board were able to disembark safely. One individual was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries. https://youtu.be/yZncbr4JIxk The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is currently investigating the incident.
