Man arrested for homicide after woman found bleeding in Costa Mesa motel

COSTA MESA, CA – The Costa Mesa Police Department has arrested a man on suspicion of homicide after a woman was found unresponsive and bleeding in a motel room on South Coast Drive. According to police, officers and Costa Mesa Fire & Rescue responded around 6 a.m. on October 13 to the 1500 block of South Coast Drive. They located a 32-year-old woman, identified as Yu Wang of Laguna Niguel, who was transported to a hospital and later pronounced deceased. At the scene, officers arrested Max Blumencranz, 31, of Costa Mesa for homicide. The nature of the relationship between the victim and the suspect remains under investigation. United Airlines will make history tomorrow at 8 a.m. Eastern Time when Flight 2940 departs from Newark/New York to Houston, marking the first time a major U.S. airline offers Starlink Wi-Fi on a mainline flight. Juvenile charged with double murder in Wilmington shooting of two teens

WILMINGTON, DE – Wilmington Police have arrested a 16-year-old male in connection with the October 8 shooting that killed two teenage boys in the area of 6th and North Pine Streets. According to Wilmington Police, officers responded around 5:07 p.m. and found two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Sixteen-year-old Nathan Lopez of Newark was pronounced deceased at the scene. Seventeen-year-old Kaleb Blumberg, also of Newark, was transported to the hospital in critical condition and later died from his injuries. The case was investigated by Detective Justin Wilkers of the Wilmington Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division. Wilmington Police identify victim in fatal Stroud Street shooting

WILMINGTON, DE – Police have identified the victim in the October 11, 2025, fatal shooting on Stroud Street as 33-year-old Desmond Scott. The shooting occurred around 2:36 p.m. in the unit block of Stroud Street. Officers responding to the scene located Scott suffering from gunshot wounds.
