HOUSTON, TX – A man was found shot multiple times inside a truck at a southwest Houston apartment complex early this morning. The shooting was reported around 12:40 a.m. in the 10200 block of West Bellfort. According to the Houston Police Department, officers with the South Gessner Patrol Division responded to the apartment complex and found a man in his mid-40s sitting inside a burgundy truck suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police believe the shooting may have happened 30 to 40 minutes before officers were called to the scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in serious condition. The shooting happened around 11:48 p.m. in the 2300 block of South Highway 6. According to the Houston Police Department, multiple individuals were gathered in a parking lot before heading to a nearby lounge located in another parking area south of the scene. HOUSTON, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed by an 18-wheeler while reportedly attempting to cross the North Freeway in north Houston. The crash occurred around 3:22 a.m. in the 4400 block of the North Freeway. According to the Houston Police Department, officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian who was reportedly attempting to cross the freeway and was struck by an 18-wheeler. HOUSTON, TX – Officers with the Houston Police Department responded to a shooting just before 11 p.m. in front of the American Grocery Store located in the 6500 block of Bellfort in southeast Houston. When officers arrived, they found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper extremities of his body. The Houston Fire Department transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he underwent surgery. When officers arrived, they found one adult male suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Another adult male suffered two gunshot wounds to the upper extremities of his body and was transported to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but is now in stable condition.
