Child not wearing seat belt ejected, killed in crash involving Harris County Deputy
HOUSTON, TX - A child who was not wearing a seat belt was ejected and killed when a pickup collided with a marked Harris County Sheriff’s Office vehicle.

According to the sheriff’s office, the crash occurred around 12:40 a.m. on T.C. Jester near Tomlinson Trail Drive.
A marked sheriff’s vehicle was traveling southbound on T.C. Jester when a northbound Toyota pickup turned westbound across its path. The collision sent the sheriff’s vehicle into a brick subdivision entrance. The pickup rotated and stopped facing southbound on T.C. Jester.
The child, who was younger than 12, was riding in the pickup’s front passenger seat without a seat belt and was ejected. The deputy performed CPR on the child, which continued until the child arrived at a hospital....
