HOUSTON — A 50-year-old man was killed and a younger man was wounded after they tracked down a stolen truck and confronted two suspects Saturday afternoon in north Houston, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office. Deputies were initially dispatched around 2:03 p.m. to the 11800 block of Tidwell Road following an aggravated robbery. Investigators said a man was at a gas station when a male suspect approached him, asked questions about his blue Chevrolet Silverado, then produced a firearm and stole the truck. Two of the victims were shot in the leg and transported to a local hospital. A third victim was grazed by a bullet, treated at the scene, and released. HOUSTON, TX – A wanted suspect was found dead after barricading himself inside an apartment in southeast Houston while members of a U.S. Marshals task force attempted to serve a warrant. The incident started around 5 p.m. in the 1200 block of Redford. Members of the Gulf Coast Task Force, which is part of the U.S. Marshals Service, were serving a warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The warrant is believed to have originated from the Friendswood Police Department, and Harris County Precinct 2 constables were assisting.
