HOUSTON, TX - A warehouse fire broke out this morning at a warehouse in the Magnolia area of Houston at a Republic Services Transfer Station. HOUSTON, TX - The Houston Fire Department responded to the 300 block of East Crosstimbers around 1 a.m. after a Chevrolet Impala caught on fire in a median. https://youtu.be/AVX9V_wESO4?si=7OCsWxxCAf9zn1TR It is not known at this time why the car caught on fire, but all occupants of the Impala were able to get out safely.

HOUSTON, TX - One man is dead and six people are in the hospital after a fatal freeway crash. https://youtu.be/xIh-1CvA0kE The crash occurred just west of Federal on the inbound side of the East Freeway. According to police, the man was standing in the number one lane when a vehicle came and struck him. The driver of that vehicle went to the hospital. Following the crash, a second vehicle crashed into the first one. 5 occupants in that vehicle were transported to the hospital as well. It is not clear why the man was on the freeway but the crash remains under investigation.

HOUSTON, TX - A man is dead following a shooting at a gas station in northwest Houston. https://youtu.be/oeAZ6nmloZ4 The shooting occurred around 6:30 p.m. in the 11900 of Old hempstead. According to police, the man was found inside the convenience store with a gunshot wound to his chest. Witnesses were able to describe the suspect and his vehicle. Police were then able to locate the vehicle in a nearby neighborhood. This is a developing story and we will keep you updated as soon as we learn what led up to the shooting.

HOUSTON, TX - A father is dead after his wife performed CPR on him following a shooting. https://youtu.be/nBXOw6x308s This shooting took place around 12:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Loper. According to police, the family's vehicle was vandalized the night before by what they believed was a black truck. A neighbor spotted a similar vehicle passing by and notified the father. The father went outside to confront them. Shortly after, the family and neighbors heard gunshots and rushed outside to see him walking back from down the street. He then collapsed in front of his home. His wife at that point began CPR but he was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Houston Fire Department. WEBSTER, TX - A woman is dead after a shooting took place in a shopping center parking lot in Webster. https://youtu.be/HxLQzvcWLEk According to the Webster Police Department, around 11:40 p.m. a 35-year-old female was found in the 20800 block of the Gulf Freeway with several gunshot wounds. During the initial homicide investigation, police developed a person of interest. Negotiators spoke to the person of interest over the phone for several hours attempting to develop a peaceful resolution, however, around 5:30 p.m. on August 10, 2024 he was found deceased from a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the 4000 block of Beatrice Street in Dickinson, TX. HOUSTON, TX - 8 year old Ana, 15 year old Evelen and 11 year old Julisa Zelaya were killed in a fire that broke out yesterday morning at a condo complex in southwest Houston. https://youtu.be/SvyzpdzmzLo A passerby called 911 after noticing a fire in the 8100 block of Albacore just before 6 a.m. Firefighters arrived 4 minutes later but it was already too late. A 21 year old who was able to escape the fire tried to go back in several times but was unsuccessful. He was taken to the hospital for minor injuries and smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

HOUSTON, TX - One man is dead after being found outside with a gunshot wound in his head following an apartment fight by his roommates. https://youtu.be/K19q0gBehbg?si=g1hobCq0rbjTh5bd The victim was found in the 6200 block of Elm near Rampart a little after 2 a.m. this morning. According to the Houston Police Department, Two roommates got into a fistfight inside an apartment while they were drinking and barbecuing. A third roommate was able to de-escalate the situation and everyone went to bed. At one point the victim ran from the apartment and they went to look for him but couldn’t find him. HOUSTON, TX - A major crash involving a HPD patrol vehicle occurred in the 2300 block of Preston just before 6 a.m. this morning. It appears that one other civilian vehicle was involved but it is not known at this time what caused the crash.
