The crash occurred around 3:40 a.m. in the 200 block of East Loop North (East Interstate Highway 610 North). According to the Houston Police Department, a white Chevrolet Malibu was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when it struck a red Chevrolet Traverse head-on.
