ATASCOCITA, TX – A man was arrested early Tuesday morning after allegedly opening fire on Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responding to a call on Atlantic Drive. According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies arrived at the 18600 block of Atlantic Drive and were met with gunfire from a wooded area. The suspect, identified as Kenyon Levor Coleman, was reportedly dressed in all black and armed with an automatic rifle and multiple rounds of ammunition. Sheriff Gonzalez stated the rifle appeared to have jammed, preventing further shots. Coleman then retreated into the woods but was later located and taken into custody without injury to deputies. The incident occurred around 11:05 p.m. on September 21. Officers initially responded to a robbery and carjacking in the 6300 block of Skyline Drive, where a male victim reported his vehicle was taken by three Hispanic male suspects, one of whom was armed with a rifle. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man is wanted in connection with an assault that occurred during a visit to a Spring-area residence. According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, deputies responded to a call around 3:02 a.m. on September 17, 2025, in the 14100 block of Cornelia Drive. The victim reported that she had invited a friend, identified as Marcelino Estrada, to watch a movie. During the visit, Estrada allegedly made unwanted advances toward the victim. When she told him to stop, he reportedly grabbed her face and neck, causing pain, before leaving the residence. A charge of assault was filed, and Estrada is now wanted in Harris County. TEXAS – An Uber Eats driver was arrested after deputies discovered a fictitious license plate on his vehicle during a traffic stop in Spring. According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, the incident occurred at approximately 5:34 p.m. on September 21, 2025, in the 2300 block of North Spring Drive. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and found that the driver, identified as Ronaldo Carrillo, was operating a vehicle with a paper license plate that did not match the vehicle. Carrillo, who was actively delivering food for Uber Eats at the time, was arrested and charged with Tampering with a Government Record, a misdemeanor offense. HOUSTON, TX – Charges have been filed against two suspects in connection with the 2017 fatal shooting of a man at 6610 Antoine Drive. According to the Houston Police Department Homicide Division, the shooting occurred at approximately 11:55 p.m. on January 14, 2017. The victim, identified as 19-year-old Jeremiah Tillis, was driving through a business center parking lot when unknown suspects opened fire. Tillis was struck, lost control of his vehicle, and crashed into a sign post. Following a joint investigation with the Spring ISD Police Department, detectives identified Antonio Diecarlo Hughes and Jason Wells, both 26, as suspects. HARRIS COUNTY, TX – A man is facing felony charges after causing a crash that injured three unrestrained children in his vehicle. The incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. on September 19, 2025, in the 13600 block of Walters Road. According to Constable Mark Herman’s Office, deputies responded to the scene and determined that the driver, identified as Juan Sanchez, was responsible for the crash. According to Constable Mark Herman, three children inside Sanchez’s vehicle were not properly restrained and sustained injuries as a result of the collision. Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Child Endangerment. His bond was set at $7,500 out of the 496th District Court.
