Three Injured in Shooting Outside Houston Club

May 6, 2023 – Three teenagers were injured in a shooting that took place outside a club on 5200 Griggs just after 12:30 am. Lieutenant Willkens from the Houston Police Department reported that two females, aged between 17 and 18, were shot in the torso area, while a 17-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the leg.

All three victims are expected to make a full recovery. The incident occurred during an event at the club, where security guards were present. According to witnesses, the victims were leaving the club when a fistfight broke out between several individuals. The altercation quickly escalated into gunfire.

The victims attempted to take cover in a nearby vehicle but were hit by bullets. Friends transported the female victims to a local hospital, while the male victim remained at the scene to receive medical attention from police officers.

Authorities have taken several individuals into custody for questioning and discovered pistols and rifles at the scene. Investigators are currently seeking security camera footage from the area to gather additional evidence.
