HOUSTON, Texas, Oct. 1, 2023 – Houston police are currently investigating a fatal crash that occurred at approximately 4:20 a.m. on Sunday on the 11700 block of the North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road.
The identity of the deceased 24-year-old female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
The woman was driving a white Ford F-150 pickup truck northbound on the service road. For reasons yet unknown, she lost control of the vehicle, veered off the road, and collided with a power pole. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived at the scene and pronounced the woman deceased.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
