HOUSTON – Houston police are conducting an investigation into a fatal crash that occurred at 400 East Little York Road around 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, March 16. The crash resulted in the death of a 63-year-old male.

According to reports from HPD Vehicular Crimes Division, the incident involved the deceased driving a gray Ford Explorer westbound when he collided with a white Chevrolet Silverado 2500 under unclear circumstances.
Following the initial collision, as both vehicles pulled over to exchange information, the Ford Explorer hit the Chevrolet Silverado a second time from behind. The driver of the Ford was subsequently transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to HCA Houston Healthcare Northwest, where he was pronounced deceased.
The 21-year-old male driver of the Chevrolet and a 48-year-old female passenger in the Ford sustained no injuries.
The investigation into the crash is still underway.
